Craig Ferguson - Clinical Director - BVSc, PGCertSAS, MRCVS - Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery
Yorkshire born and bred, Craig graduated from Liverpool University in 2001 and has been with the practice since 2008. Originally a mixed practitioner, treating large and small animals, he now focuses on cats, dogs and anything else small enough to fit through the surgery door, although he still enjoys seeing emergency large animal cases out of hours. He is principally based at the Barnstaple branch where he is Clinical Director. He has a particular interest in small animal surgery and has achieved a certificate at Masters level in this area, and has been granted Advanced Practitioner status by the Royal College as recognition of his further studies.
Craig lives with his family (2 dogs, 2 girls, 1 boy and 1 wife) on the edge of Exmoor and enjoys nothing more than exploring the hidden depths of the North Devon countryside and the National Park. After dark he can be found on the badminton court, in the kitchen or with a glass of red.
