Putting Your Pet To Sleep

Putting your pet to sleep

It might be unthinkable, but there may come a time when severe illness affects your pet’s quality of life. We would never take such a course of action lightly but, should the time come, we can make sure that any euthanasia procedure is quick and painless. This can be done with care and dignity at home if you prefer. You may also choose to have your pet cremated and their ashes returned in a casket, which we can arrange for you. If you have any questions, just call us and we’ll do our best to help.

Both our head nurse and bereavement councellor recently visited Summerleaze Pet Crematorium.  We thought this would be beneficial for us, as a practice and would help us answer any questions our clients may have.  A full account of their visit can be found on our news page.

Bereavement counselling service

We also understand that losing a pet can be an incredibly distressing time, we have all lost pets and know how traumatic it can be. That is why we can offer a confidential bereavement counselling service run by one of our nurses.
